Feeding baby parrots

As a zookeeper I would often help others out, and one time I was helping out people in Australia and staying there for free.

The particular area I stayed in had lots of parrots, and new baby ones we had to feed. We would get the food on a spoon and then soak it up in a syringe and insert it in the baby parrots mouth.

We had to hold the birds head so that it wouldn't struggle or suffocate and eventually it would eat all the food. We would do this three times a day, and soon the birds were used to it! Was great fun!
